If Your Business Is Not Taking Advantage Of Mobile Marketing You Are Losing A Ton Of Business!

If you are a business owner and your website is not mobile friendly, which it is estimated, over 50% are not, you are leaving a boat load of money out on the street! Do you realize that mobile searches result in either the searcher visiting your business or at least checking out your website 60% more times than a normal search?

If your website is not mobile friendly, and does not look professional, the mobile user will more than likely just move on to the next site?? Do you really want hat happening? If you don't care, you are making a BIG mistake. Mobile is quickly taking over the market when it comes to business searches, and it is certainly impacting local searches even more so!

Let me give you an example. Say you own a sub shop in your local town. Many people might just be passing through this town and are hungry. It is noon time and they are just looking for a quick bite to eat. If your sub shop isn't mobile friendly or looks terrible when it comes up on a Google search, 97% of the time, the searcher moves on to the next site. Now say, your average lunch check is $25, and you have 20 people searching your town on any given day. If your site is not showing up, or is hard to navigate or even worse just plain ugly, you are losing $500 in Sales that day!! Multiply that by 7 and, you get the picture, right?

Yes, that's approximately $180,000 in lost business because your site looks like crap!! Are you telling me you couldn't use the $180,000? If you can , get out of your business you are not a business person!

Mobile friendly sites are not something that is a luxury anymore, it is a necessity! If you think you are too busy to deal with this, you surely need to hand the business over to someone who cares! Even if you ae losing 50% of that number above, which is conservative, you are still not ringing in $90,000 a year, because you didn't care enough to make your site mobile friendly!

The new mobile sites, have push to call buttons now, so the searcher kust pushes 1 button and they have you on the line, they have features like menu items, specials, discount coupons and email capture pages! These are all going to benefit your business right now and definitely in the future! Just take a look!

 The one on the left is too busy and confusing! The one on the right is easy to navigate, clear and all you have to do is push a button and you are connected to the business! That is what people want these days! If you don't give it to them, somebody else will, and you lose business! It's that simple!

 Many people are wondering if there is a real way to market their business on the internet for free. In our current day and age, it is highly possible to market your business or product on the internet and to get excellent amounts of traffic using free methods.



 As long as you know what is involved and the specific steps to take in marketing your business, you will begin to see your traffic and sales increase quite a bit in a short amount of time.  It is a fact that people want to be successful in their endeavors. I am a huge believer in 2 sayings. I am sure if you have read anything on the internet you have had your share of famous quotes, by famous figures throughout history. But here it goes, these 2 are both very powerful and not used enough in my opinion. So here it goes;

 Promoting your website or product is a great way to help achieve this success. So, the question then becomes how do you market your site properly?  I will tell you this, approximately 98% do not properly build, use or promote their site in the proper way. This causes a jaded opinion to many business owner’s that it just doesn’t work. Well, if it was done correctly, they would be astounded at the power of having a fully interactive, multi-platform responsive website!



It is said recently that somewhere around 90% of all businesses do NOT have a “passable”, mobile website! You know how crazy that is? That is just “passable”, that isn’t even a good mobile website that actually interacts with the user, is pleasing to look at, and gets their point across within the 20 or so seconds it takes to hold someone’s attention until they move on to the next site, that is probably selling the same exact thing, but doing it much more effectively than you and guess what??? BOOM, they get the business!!!

#1 – BE READY TO BE SEEN! The first thing is to sign your site up. Look for the newest, most famous directories online and list your website with them. This is the easiest and by far most efficient way to get free website promotion. One huge note here: MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION IS 100% CORRECT!!!



 Start with this idea and you, are guaranteed to have more prosperity later on. However, it is imperative to make sure that your website is prepared before you list it. This means, fully operational, and full of the most relevant information! This will make it much more likely that you will be accepted into the directory that you are submitting to. Once you are in, expect a healthy boost in your traffic numbers!!



#2 -  PICK OUT YOUR FORUMS The reason that forums exist is because they offer free promotion to everyone. Simply sign up, log in, participate and post actively, and let other people know about your website in every post that you submit. This is a sure way to attract visitors to your site. Also, self promotion is great, heck, I do it all the time, but also try to give back and actually add value to the forum. Give back some value, you will get instant karma points and even more traffic, believe me!





#3 –  ISSUE YOUR PRESS RELEASES! The next step is to create press releases that will be helpful to you. Free your writing spirit and write a press release that focuses on promoting your website. This is a totally free promotion tool that can be done as often as you would like. Write a short paragraph and then send it to friends, family, online ezines, and other sources of media. By doing this, you are almost guaranteeing yourself massive amounts of traffic. Get creative and make sure it is energetic! People love press releases, if you use this tool, you will be extremely happy with the amount of new traffic you have visiting your site.

#4 –  BE FRIENDLY Remind yourself that you always need to be friendly on the internet. By utilizing free promotion methods, you need to be sociable and friendly. This is because the friendlier you are with people, the more they can help get your site linked in many places. Make contact with people and welcome link exchanges and requests that you receive.  Make sure to produce relevant, high quality articles. Believe it or not, they are there for the same reason! Use it!



#5 –  BE RELEVANT Make sure that what you are writing and submitting to people has to do with what you are selling or offering. It does not make sense to have a travel website that has articles written about home improvement. Focus on your particular area of expertise. Articles are your advertisements and are a great source of free promotion.   Let the whole world know about your site. When you are having conversations, add your URL into them. #7 –  TAKE A WEBSITE PROMOTION COURSE!  There are many courses available online that are completely free and can teach you a lot. Most of these programs ask you to join their newsletters. If you create a site, there is no fee for advertising it. You only have to do some research about this type of promotion. Hey, so what that’s what you are there for!



 To wrap this up, follow these steps, you will maximize your internet marketing and advertisement with no cost to you. All it takes is some time and a small amount of effort. Most of these steps are simple to follow. They might seem time consuming at first but, the brain is like any other muscle in your body, the more you use it, the stronger it gets and the easier it is to pump out highly relevant posts and articles about what you do.



The time and relative effort you put forth now, will ensure that you capture a larger audience. Then in turn you have the FREE opportunity to turn those reader’s into paying customers. What is better than that?



Maybe a quart of Ben & Jerry’s “Americone Dream” ice cream on a hot, humid July day, but I’m not even sure about that! I mean Stephen Colbert is humorous and entertaining, and the ice cream named after him is flat out delicious, but nothing is better than a tidal wave of sales because you put in the time and effort into promoting your business correctly through the internet!

Now, if all else fails, or you don’t have the time, that’s where hiring a professional to get you to where you want to go comes in! This is money well spent in my mind. Often times, there just aren’t that many hours in the day for this type of effort, but it is necessary and it does ultimately pay off. I can’t tell you how many business owner’s have cut me off within the first 5 minutes, because they think they have heard it all before, and it is a bunch of bull.



Well, yeah some of it is a bunch of crap. But if it is done correctly, it should and will pay for itself many times over. Another thing if the work isn’t guaranteed that is a red flag.



I know for a fact, because I was on the other side of that desk for 25 plus years, how business owner’s and decision maker’s operate. I also know there are a very large percentage of upper management that are scared silly into making a mistake or creating more work for themselves!

 simple. The big guys would just outspend you and cut you off at the neck!
 Now you have fighting chance. You had better recognize this, and
 position yourself to out think your competitor's and find an angle that

 budget, and you aren't spending large amounts of capital to acquire

 You should be careful about your approach now. You really won't want
 to just start sending ads every day. Come up with something that the
 people who found your website were obviously looking for.  If your small
 business, internet marketing plan makes it likely that people will come
 across your website when looking for ways to keep aphids off of
 houseplants, for instance, then offer a 3- 5- or 7- day email "course"
 about how take care of African violets or how to keep houseplants
 healthy in less than ideal conditions. Solve A PROBLEM!

 or what makes up great ads, which you SHOULD, since if you know this

 Infomercials! You might snicker at this, but you won't when your email
